Saturday Stories

Every week I go and pick up two sisters for Bible club on Thursdays and also for church on Sunday. They are around 7 and 9 and love to talk and joke around and I love to joke back. Allison was driving them home one day and as she went over a speed bump one of the girls said “You are a much better driver than Sean! He would’ve flown over that bump.”

Every Sunday we go to Nickerson Gardens, the largest housing project west of the Mississippi. Two Sundays a month we have a worship service on the basketball courts and the other two Sundays we play games, hang out and have fun. The faces of young and old that come out and the times of just shared experiences we have will forever stay with us. I even am known among the kids that come as an all star soccer player.

One of the best ways we can connect with people is through stories. We’re going to try to post a few stories every week from our life. We aren’t anything special, the foolishness of the cross is why we do this. These are just little pictures to point you to Jesus.

If by chance you are are not getting our prayer letters please let us know. You can also go to www.worldimpactla.org and read the past three months of our letters. We are the featured missionary today, but other days you can search for us by clicking on “locate a missionary.” It is also the end of the year and if anyone wants to give a tax deductible donation before the year closes out just click the support us button on the right of this blog.

We love you all & hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
